BSTP 01 is an integral stainless steel urinal with a built-in thermal sensor. A thermal sensor reacts to temperature changes in the siphon after use of the urinal. This thermal sensor generates a signal that is analyzed by the electronics, opens the electromagnetic valve and operates the flushing of the urinal. After 24 hours inactivity the urinal flushes itself.
The thermal sensor does not react to people standing near or passing by. The time setting for flushing is carried out without remote control. It is defined by switching off the source as described in the maintenance manual.
The construction of the flushing system allows its easy assembly requiring only connection and hanging onto a wall. The flushing system is protected against mechanical damage, even wilful, because all components are placed under the cover of the urinal.
BSTP 01 with a sensor controlled flushing system or a battery supplied version can be manufactured on a request.
BSTP 01 automatic stainless steel urinal, due to its high resistance to damage, is intended particularly for modernization of the prisons, diagnostic establishments and other institutions where security is paramount.

BSTP 01 ist ein Edelstahlurinal mit automatischer Spüleinrichtung, gesteuert durch einen Sensor, der auf Änderungen im Siphon beim Benutzen des Urinals reagiert. Das vom Sensor erzeugte Signal wird in der Elektronik ausgewertet, durch Öffnen eines elektromagnetischen Ventils erfolgt die Spülung des Urinals. Nach 24 Stunden ohne Benutzung wird das Urinal automatisch gespült.
Der Sensor reagiert weder auf vorbeigehende noch auf stehende Personen. Die Konstruktion ermöglicht eine einfache Montage – das Urinal muss nur an die Wand befestigt und angeschlossen werden. Die Anordnung aller Elemente innerhalb des Edelstahlmantels garantiert deren Schutz gegen mechanische, auch mutwillige Beschädigung.
Auf Wunsch kann das Edelstahlurinal auch mit Batterieversorgung und optoelektronischem Sensor (BSTP 01.B) geliefert werden .
Das automatische Edelstahlurinal BSTP 01 ist aufgrund seiner Robustheit vor allem für Modernisierungen von Haftanstalten, Jugendanstalten, Untersuchungszellen und Einrichtungen ähnlicher Art bestimmt.
