AUP 45 is ceramic urinal with an automatic intelligent(IQ)flushing system. Sensor reacts to changes in the siphon when urinal is used. The location of sensor and electronics(on the siphon of the urinal) protects the system of willful damage. After 24 hours inactivity the urinal flushes itself. The automatic urinals with intelligent sensor are intended for social facilities where the user´s comfort and the maintenance of hygiene is required at maximum water savings. Construction of the flushing system allows easy installation comprising only connection and suspension of the ceramics on prepared wall. As all elements are incorporated in the ceramics, the flushing system is protected against mechanical injury, both incidental and intentional. The bowl urinal does not contain any optical elements; therefore it removes disadvantages of sensor technology such as soiling or damaging of scanning diodes and their poor dark colour sensitivity. AUP 45 besteht aus einer SIMPLICITY-Keramik des Herstellers IDEAL STANDARD, ergänzt durch eine eingebaute automatische intelligente IQ-Spülung, die auf Änderungen des Siphoninhalts reagiert. Die Steuerung spricht somit nicht auf Personen in der Nähe des Urinals an, sondern erst bei Benutzung, und vermeidet so unnötiges Spülen und Wasserverschwendung. Zum Spülen genügt ein einziger Liter Wasser. Nach 24 Stunden ohne Benutzung wird das Urinal automatisch gespült. Die Einstellung der IQ-Spülung erfolgt mit Hilfe eines Magneten, es ist keine separate und teure Fernbedienung nötig. Alle Funktionsteile der Spülung befinden sich an der Rückseite der Keramik und sind so vollkommen vor Beschädigung durch Vandalen gesichert.
